Level Select:
Press START on the title screen and then move the bat to the password option. Press START again and enter the code: 5257. Hit A and a bunch of strange symbols will appear underneath the password entry section. You can now enter your starting level code.

If, for example, you enter the code: 5200, you'll go straight to level 5-2. The first number indicates the level and the second, the stage, but the last two digits should always be zero. (The code won't work otherwise.)
