Full Life and More:
At title screen, hold down A, C, and down, then push start. When Magnetos face appears, quickly plug the controller into player 2 socket and push start. Then, put the controller back into player 1 socket and choose difficulty.

By doing this, every time you push start you will regerate to full life and full mutant power and get all the icons.

Extra Time:
When you are in the room where you pick your character go as far right as you can, jump and punch. It'll buy you more time in that room!!
